SETTINGS

Social Setting -Fogg belongs to the English upper class. They dress in posh clothes, attend society parties, have servants         and butlers and behave in a manner generally associated with the rich and famous.

Physical Setting -The places where the events take place changes all the  time - from London to the Suez, Bombay, Calcutta,            Hong Kong, Yokohama, San Francisco, New York and then back to London.

Time Setting -This was the nineteenth- century, where many advances had been made in technology. -The International Date Line (IDL)  is a generally north -south imaginary line on the surface of the Earth,    passing  through the middle of the Pacific Ocean, where the date changes as a ship travels east or west   across it.
