PLOT

Plot
Phileas Fogg made a wager that he could go round the world in eighty days. He and his butler, Passepartout, started from London and journeyed through many countries and encountered many obstacles. A detective, Fix, who pursued them thinking Fogg was a bank robber, wrongly arrested Fogg on the final leg of the journey, thereby causing a delay. On his release, Fogg returned to London thinking he had lost the wager. But actually they had returned a day earlier than the set date because they had gained a day traveling east. On learning this, Fogg dashes to the Reform Club just three seconds before specified time and wins the wager.
